By default, requests for leave that are submitted from Who's In? are sent to the manager of the person who made the request for actioning. If you have the right privileges enabled on your account, you can modify who the manager is for a particular person on the User Accounts page.
However, as a manager you might additionally want requests for leave you receive to be sent to other people as well, to enable them to process your leave requests on your behalf. For example, you might want to add a secondary approver if you are going on an extended period of leave yourself.
In Hiro, you can enable one or more people to additionally receive and action leave requests that are sent to a particular manager by enabling delegate access. To do so:
- Whilst logged in as the manager who wishes to have secondary leave approvers enabled, navigate to Who's In?
- Click the "Configure delegate access" button at the top of the page.
- In the popup "Configure Delegate Access" window, search for and select the people who you wish to additionally receive requests for leave that are sent to you.
- Click "Save"
Once delegates approvers are added, either you or one of your delegates can approve/deny leave requests you receive.
