Overview
Hiro supports connecting to one Xero company at a time. You cannot connect more than one Xero company to Hiro at once.
If you need to switch your Hiro account to connect with a different Xero company, you will need to first disconnect your existing Xero connection, then reconnect with the new Xero company.
No Data Loss Occurs
No data is lost in either Hiro or Xero when you disconnect. Disconnection just stops any new data flowing between Hiro and Xero.
For example, if you have reconciled an invoice payment in Xero, which then automatically flows through to Hiro, the payment will remain unaffected in place in both Hiro and Xero after you disconnect. However, new invoice payments will not flow through from Xero to Hiro after you disconnect.
How to Switch
To switch from one Xero company to another in Hiro:
- Disconnect your existing Xero connection by following these instructions;
- Connect Hiro to your new Xero company by following these instructions;
- Reconfigure your Xero integration settings after reconnecting with a different Xero account:
- update invoice settings by following these instructions; and
- update leave balance integration by following these instructions.
