Introduction
If you have previously created a template in Hiro's Templates system, you can easily update it by downloading, editing, and re-uploading the document. This guide explains the steps in detail.

How to Modify Existing Template Document

Navigate to the Templates section in Hiro.

Find the template you want to modify and select the edit (pencil) icon located beneath the document preview.

Click the Word icon to download the current template as a *.docx file. Save it temporarily on your computer.

Open the downloaded file in Microsoft Word and make your desired changes.

Return to the Edit Template page you opened in Step 2.

Click "Overwrite existing template document."

Select your modified document by clicking "Select file" and choosing the updated file from the file picker.

Verify your Template Variables:
- Existing labels will be retained if still present in your updated document.
- Double-check if any new variables require labels.

Click "Save" to complete the update.
