Introduction
A plan number must first be allocated to a project in the in the Plan Register before you can upload the document associated with that plan (learn more about allocation here).
Once the plan number is allocated, there are two different experiences for uploading plan documents: upload first version and supersede. The questions asked during each of these stages may be different depending on the configuration of the plan type in the Plan Type Settings.
Upload First Version
After a plan number has been allocated , the first version of that plan can be uploaded. From the Plan Register starting page, search for the newly allocated plan, then click the “Upload First Version” button within the versions drop down panel.
The versions drop down panel can be accessed by clicking the versions icon on the right hand side of the plan after you search for it:
Supersede
For plans with at least one version uploaded, there will be a “Supersede this Plan” button available in the drop down versions panel. This Supersede screen introduces the “Change Trail”. You will still be asked to enter a short description for why you are uploading a new version.
Additionally, you will be asked to either upload a PDF as change trail evidence, or select an email from Hiro's Email Archive. Clicking this option presents a mini Email Archive where you can click the relevant email, saving the need to print/scan/upload anything for your change trail.
