Otherwise, before you begin setting up your integration between Hiro and Xero, you will need to make sure you are a Global Administrator in Hiro. The person who signs into Hiro for the first time is automatically assigned as a Global Administrator. You can find out more about how privileges work in Hiro in this article.
To link Hiro to Xero:
- Navigate to Settings
- Click on the Connect to Xero button
- Click the blue Connect to Xero button in the centre of the page
- You will be redirected to a Xero logon page. Enter the Xero account credentials associated with the Xero tenant you want to link to Hiro.
- Depending on whether you have one or multiple organisations in your Xero account, you may be requested to select which organisation you want to link to Hiro. If relevant, select your organisation from the dropdown list and click the blue Allow access button.
- You should now be back on the Connect to Xero page in Hiro, which will inform you that you have successfully connected Hiro to your Xero company file.
Once the connection to Xero is complete, you will next to configure Hiro and Hiro will communicate with each other:
