Introduction
Hiro has a Microsoft Outlook plug-in that you can use to save your email messages to the Email Archive, enabling you to take control of your inbox and stay on track.
Saving emails from Microsoft Outlook is quick and easy, enabling your whole team to manage their own emails and archiving, without relying on a separate admin team member to manage archiving emails on their behalf.
Check Which Installer is Needed
The Email Archive plug-in is supported on the Classic version of Microsoft Outlook for Windows.
It is not compatible with the New Outlook experience.
Before installing, you'll need to confirm whether your Outlook is 32-bit or 64-bit so you know which installer to download.
How to check your Outlook version (32-bit or 64-bit):
- In Outlook, click File.
- Click on Office Account down the bottom left.
- Click the About Outlook button on the right-hand side.
- In the popup window, check whether your version of Outlook is 32-bit or 64-bit. Make note of this, and include it in your support request when asking for the plug-in.
In the example screenshot below, you can see this particular version of Outlook is 64-bit.
Installing the Plugin

Choose and download the right installer from the list below after completing the above instructions.

Close all Microsoft Outlook windows if any are still open.

Launch the MSI installer, and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

When you next start Outlook, you should see the Hiro icon on the Home tib of the ribbon in Microsoft Outlook.
